Everybody knows, subway trains normally run on tracks. In the first part of this page, you will see some photos on tracks of the Mass Transit Railway.
What about changing tracks? Unlike cars, Train Operators cannot and would not control the direction of trains or where they go to by means of a steering wheel. Turnouts are equipments that enable the branching off of tracks from main lines. In the second part of this page, you will see photos on the general appearance of turnouts.
