DETAILS OF URL K-STOCK TRAINS

As the new Tseung Kwan O Line is being completed, 13 new Urban Railway Lines (URL) K-Stock arrived Siu Ho Wan Depot (SHD) by ship. Some are tranfered to Kowloon Bay Depot (KBD), while the remaining ones quietly bathe under the sun. In total, 104 cars (13 units) were bought.
They are built by KOROS, Korea Rolling Stock Corperation. These trains will mainly serve the Kwun Tong Line (KTL), as soon as they pass every strict test. They are also composed of 8 cars, with similar car IDs as those of original URL cars, and their typical formation is:
(DN KTL / Yau Ma Tei) A - C - B - B - C - B - C - A (UP KTL / Tiu Keng Leng)
